Hi everyone hope you are all well and staying safe. 
 

I have a 2010 Ford Fiesta 1.6 Diesel which is the button start model. For the past year the car has been driving perfectly fine but one morning before work my car would not start no lights on the dash would show up aswell it’s like the car is completely dead. I have changed the battery still no life. I have also had the starter motor checked and also the alternator and the mechanic says there perfectly fine. Can someone please shed some light as my car is now stuck on my drive rotting away really want to sort the car out.

    Not sure how button start works, how do you turn ignition on to get the dash lights on (when working normally)

    Just hold the button and the lights on the dash come on then starts
