Electronic Parking Brake

Featured Replies

57 plate smax with electronic park brake issue. I have an issue with a faulty module. I have tried to obtain a Ford Module at a reasonable price but have only managed to source a Module which has previously been on a Volvo. Altthough the brake now releases the module shows as not compatible and can not be coded to the car. I have done some investigation and found that the original module fitted to the car is no longer available and has been subject to some 7 revisions. The part is the same as fitted to Volvos and latest revision from Volvo parts is more reasonably priced, so if this part has not been on a Volvo would it be suitable and could it be coded to the Ford Smax? Any advice would be much appreaciated. Does anyone know where a second hand Ford Module could be sourced?
