Sidelight wiring

Featured Replies

Got some headlights I blacked out and put some halos in but they will kill my battery if constantly hooked up to it so wondering if I can splice into the sidelight positive and connect the negative to the battery still and this would work?

I don’t know much about wiring or the sidelight wire for my 2014 fiesta zetec

any help will be appreciated!

Yes if you dont have DRL then splice into the side lights and an earth ,then check im nout sure what fuse is fitted or what current the halos draw.

Sidelights normally 5 watts each(don’t specifically know about your car)So if your halos use more watts then you need to think about the fuse and thickness of cable. Don’t just shove a higher amp fuse in as that might mean cable will burn and cause fire before fuse blows.  Have you got them wired so they stay on when you leave the car parked?
