Standard Suspension vs. Handling Suspension

Hello everyone,

I would like to know what is the difference or differences between these two?

E. g.: My pre-facelift Focus (produced on 2nd of May in 2006) with 2.0i 16V Duratec-HE engine (107 kW) engine and Ghia trim has stated "Standard Suspension" in Ford ETIS, while my firend's facelift Focus (produced in February of 2008) with 2.0 TDCi (100 kW) engine and Titanium trim has stated "Handling Suspension" in Ford ETIS. They're both 5-door hatchbacks.

My friend's pre-facelift Focus C-Max (produced in 2003 or 2004) with 2.0 TDCi (100 kW) engine also has "Handling Suspesnion".

FWIW, both already mentioned cars that have "Handling Suspesnion", came out of factory with 18" alloy wheels, while mine came out with 16" alloy Ghia wheels (as far as I know, all Ghia models come out of factory with 16" alloys that are specific for Ghia trim).

FWIW 2, all three cars are LHD and produced in Germany.

    Compared to the standard suspension the handling suspension has (10 mm) lower and stiffer springs and different shock absorbers that have a characteristic that matches the lower/stiffer springs.

    does any one know if the ford kuga  st line x mk3 aws 190hp has sports or standard suspension  just been reading in broacher it says sports on st line except 190 aws
