Fiesta CD player replacement

Hi

Have just removed a CD player unit from a 2011 Fiesta Eco.

There was only one connection but two on the replacement unit. Plugged it in to single connection but did not work.

Is there an upgrade available? And what is the second connection used for?

    I won’t know the answer but put a photo of the sockets on old one and new one on here with photo of the front of each and someone will probably know

    I think the unit with two connectors is from a later model, sure there are threads on here from people who have had the same issue.
