JBWeld - Turbo

Featured Replies

So I've got a turbo hard pipe that doesn't fit properly and the pipe just falls off

Comparing to the original it's clear the angle is off quite a lot

Don't want to just throw it out though so wondering if JBWeld would be sufficient to do a repair? How hot does this get, will the JBWeld handle it?

See attached pictures, plan would be to cut the triangle section out then JBWeld it back together at the right angle...

No that's such a bodge ahaha. JBweld is ok for little holes at a push, but not a large area like that.

Oh forgot to mention, if that JB weld cracks (which it is likely to do if there's lots of temperature changes etc) then it will scrap your turbo if a piece falls in the pipe...

What's wrong with the original?

I second that. Nice that they put 'weld' in the name but it's just glue. I would have no confidence in that lasting.
