Hi All,

My standard Ford radio stopped working, no sound at all, so I replaced it with an Android 9 unit, but very quickly got frustrated with the functionality and glitches, so bought a second hand radio to replace the original.  However, with the Ford radio re-fitted, I now don't get any Parking Sensor audio.  The original radio was Part Number BS7T-18C815-AH, but the replacement was BS7T-18C815-AE.  I tried another AE  radio too and the same result.

Refitting the Android unit confirmed that the car's parking system was providing the audio feed as expected, so pretty sure it's a radio issue rather than the parking sensor system.  I'm therefore  wondering if the problem is that the AE doesn't support parking sensor audio.  Does anyone have any ideas about this?  Will fitting an AH radio likely fix this?  Can the software of the AE radio be upgraded to AH standard?  Any other ideas what I can do to further diagnose the problem?

Although no replies for this I'm now sorted. For anyone else struggling with the issue, I managed to get the AH variant of the radio and all is good with the reversing sensors. There must therefore be something different in the configuration or software for the differing radios.
