Good Evening all,

I recently bought a 2009 fiesta. It has the aux connector below the handbrake and it has a bluetooth module under the glove box. Unfortunately neither the aux or the bluetooth are working and I was wondering if anyone had experienced something similar.

I press the aux button on the radio and it does nothing, if I press the phone button it just mutes the radio. I've unplugged the battery, bluetooth module, fuses etc so the radio is reset but still nothing. Has anyone got any ideas?

Go to bluetooth on your phone and search for your car mine is parrot ck3100 you then connect for calls, you have to have somthing playing on your phone while connected to the aux for it to work also make sure to increase the volume on your phone hope that helps

So there's no bluetooth showing up at all when I search with my phone, same with aux if something is playing with it plugged in nothing happens. If I press aux on the radio nothing happens, it's as if its not even aware there is an aux cable / bluetooth module.

Theres no settings for bluetooth in the menus etc

That's as far as my knowledge goes, by the sounds of it it could be a loose connection have you tried to take the unit out and check all the plugs ect

thanks, I'll see if I can get it out tonight and check the connections.

So I took the dash apart tonight and checked the connections, all seems to be fine. No loose connections etc. No idea what it could be at this point.

Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will know what the issue is
