Focus ST-Line X Rear Light LED Upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I posted here a couple of weeks ago regarding LED headlights on the Focus ST-Line X 184PS MK4 2020 model to see if it did come with front LED headlights as standard as I was taking delivery of mine, safe to say it did and it really looks the part and a big thanks to everone who took the time to comment.

This time I just wanted to ask you ford enthusiasts again on something, my focus did not come with the rear LED lights, which I was not expecting. What I want to know is it worth the hassle to buy a set of genuine Focus MK4 rear LED lamps and fit them? I learnt from one other post on here as I was searching that you need to use “Forscan” and alter the coding because obviously LED lights require more power to work unlike the standard halogen rear lamps, but the guy in the post stated he could only get the inside fitted lamps (Boot/tailgate)  lamps to work but not the outside lamps. Is it worth it?

Thanks in advance :).
