(Help needed) Fiesta mk7 immobiliser malfunction service now issue

Featured Replies

Hello guys and girls,

Just bought a Fiesta mk7 titanium x from auction.

The car is stolen recovered and the keeps displaying "immobiliser malfunction service now". Ive checked all the fuses and relays and they all seem to be fine, however the key isnt an original ford one. All the wiring and obd port seem ok. The only damage to the vehicle was a smashed drivers side window and very minor suspension damage.

Ive tried another battery from my other fiesta and still the same thing happens. If I disconnect the battery for about a hour then reconnect it the error doesn't show and the car is fine yet once I lock and unlock the car the message then gets displayed once I press the start put to turn the ignition on.

I only have one key.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before and knows of a possible solution I can try?

Many Thanks
