Fiesta MK8 Missing a piece from rear bumper?

Hi,

Today I’ve walked up to my car and realised a hole has appeared there which wasn’t there before.

It appears to be a kind of cover but I have no idea what it is and, more importantly, how I go about getting a replacement?

I think it’s been taken off by someone or it’s fell off?

I don’t know why the picture is upside down... but yeah.

Thanks in advance

It's the rear towing eye cover.

Someone may have nicked it but it's not uncommon for them to fall off.

As they're still fairly new, you'll probably have to go to the Ford dealer for a replacement.  Don't be surprised if it's about £20 though!

It's for the rear towing eye to screw into just in case you have to be towed from the rear. It gives something for a winch to hook on to.
The front will also have one hidden behind a small pop panel.

I think you'd probably need to go to Ford to get a replacement as I doubt many Mk8's have been sent to scrap yards.

And you'll find the towing eye in with the jack etc for the spare wheel.

Thank you both of you!

I’ve looked online and can’t find the part anywhere 😞 guess I’ll have to contact Ford themselves!
