Oil leak near gearbox

Hi all,

Was hoping for some advice or help with a oil leak my missus is having, its situated on the passenger side and its leaking from a plastic box with 3 plastic clips at the side of the gearbox, iv never come across this before, does anybody have an idea what the leak is, ie gearbox or engine that could help me

    Open the plastic-box. It has the gear change cables/ levers in it. The levers go into the gearbox so may be oil coming out there. Are you sure it’s oil? Have you checked brake/clutch fluid reservoir in case it has clutch slave cylinder leak. Slave cylinder is inside bellhousing

     I had just assumed from the golden brownish colour it was oil but il do that and check now i did open the plastic casing an it was seemingly coming from from a rubber spring looking seal
