Short Shift

Featured Replies

Any opinions on the Graham Goode and mountune short shift gadgets?

Graham Good clips on to the original shift arm, mountune replaces the shift arm

What do you guys think? Which is better?

The only Mountune option that I could find was for the ST, which looks like it wouldn't fit the 1.0 Ecoboost.  I have the Pumaspeed one that works well and the only downside is that a little more force is required to engage gears.  Not a lot and not enough to be bothersome, but noticeable from stock.

I personally like the shorter throw, but I guess it's all about preference!

This is the mountune one:

I recently bought the Graham Goode one but it hasn't turned up yet but then literally just now had an offer I couldn't refuse on a mountune one so got that coming now too

Reviews on mountune site seem to suggest the mountune one is the better option so I may just install that and resell the Graham Goode one

Ah, helps if I was looking at the same generation, I thought you were in a MK8 for some reason... Doh.

That said, I think that my Pumaspeed one would do a similar job to the Graham Goode version for you and it works just fine.  🙂
