Hi Guys.Please can someone tell Me if I need to clean off these new Pagid discs before fitting? They have a very matt kind of finish and not sure if need cleaning off first.Thanks

They are usually coated in a varnish to stop them rusting, you can remove it, which you should before fitting, with paint stripper (nitromors) or cellulose thinners.

Just clean with brake cleaner as normal before fitting. The pads will cut through the layer to the metal.

No need to clean those discs.

Pagid discs come painted, they don't need cleaning or any prep at all.

If you also bought Pagid pads, you'll see they come with a break in coating on them to help bedding in.
