Ford Fiesta MK8 vanity mirror bulb connectors

Featured Replies

I have recently purchased the LED Vanity Mirror Bulbs from Autobeam for my MK8 Fiesta.

I found it particularly difficult to remove the OEM bulbs from the mirrors. I’m not sure if it was my slightly sweaty fingers or not but I did try some things to grip it with however I just couldn’t pull them out also due to the small space.

Anyway, I managed to use a small plastic trim removal tool just to pry the little connectors inside. Although being very careful, I think I have bent one of the connectors so when I put the new LED bulb in it doesn’t light up as it cannot make contact.

Am I able to use some metal tweezers to try and just pull the connectors back a little or is this a bad things as it’s metal on metal?

Thanks.
