Hey,

I have just ordered the following OBD tool (https://www.amazon.co.uk/bbfly-BF32302-ELM327-modified-ELMconfig-Forscan/dp/B074JF6YNG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=SFVXZQ4E15NY8NW4MW43&linkCode=sl1&tag=jamesimp-21&linkId=123f982ef518526073c835c97f3081e4) which I believe has already had the chip modified to work with FORScan...

I am hoping to activate the Deflation Detection System and drive-away locking, so I have two questions...1) How easy is that to do? and 2) Anything else worth unlocking/activating?

Any advice greatly appreciated, cheers!

Liam

I don't know the answer.

I have one of these code readers to plug in OBD port (different make/supplier but same kind of thing).

To clarify: the chip has not been modified to work with Forscan. What has been done is it has had a small switch added which switches the internal wires from two pins to a different two pins so that it can be used to access the different modules on a ford which are accessed from different pins in the obd socket.

Auto-locking doors is a popular one to activate. You just chose what speed you want the doors to lock at.

Have a look through this topic. I eventually did it. Read through the whole post, nothing to lose. Hope you get it installed. Why this isn't standard the system is there just needs to be turned on which apparently a Ford main dealer is unable to do!!!!!
