Hi all 🙂 Currant owner of molton orange st3 .. 18 months on and loving it. Got a few days off and i'm going to attempt to first a boost gauge(weather permitting as its gone crap. 🙈)

Just after a few a few pointers before i attempt it,off any amazingly knowledgably people. 😁

Would be ok to insert a t-piece into the vacuum hose that runs to the throttle body ?? (I've attached a piccy. )

There is also a wire on the loom that came with kit labelled headlight switch live. Where would be the best place to insert this?? 🙈😂

Sorry if there really dumb questions. But i;m a complete beginner at anything like this. But i do want to learn.
