fiesta 2007 cuts out

hi 

I have my daughters fiesta 1.4 2007 and what she is telling me is that she can go to pull away at a junction and the car just cuts out and it will restart almost straight away but it has taken waiting 20 seconds to restart once ,

I have just give the battery leads a quick tug and they all seem tight any ideas would be a great help.

Check the earth strap for the engine, could be loose
