Oil leak

Featured Replies

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me. Got a 2005 Mk6 ford fiesta zetec s with about 95k miles. I've started noticing an oil leak on the timing side of the engine, which is puddling on the floor. It's coming from the top somewhere I believe as there is oil gathering on top of the pas pump (not power steering fluid). I've changed the valve cover gasket and cleaned everything down but the leak has returned. Anywhere else it could be leaking this badly from? Timing cover? Cheers everyone.

as far as i know the camshaft is driven by rubber belt, not chain, so the timing cover is not an oil tight cover (as there should be no oil behind it)

Look to see if any oil lines have come loose or are damaged
