With the expansion of the family, I am now in need of a 7 seater.

What are your thoughts on getting a S MAX was thinking 07 / 08 plate

    What are you after on particular?
    This is one of the biggest cars in this group.
    No so many issues, mainly few electrical bugs.
    Most people buy 2.0 TDCi, but there are other options
    I would recommend Titanium trim mainly for better seats and tinted windows.

    I've heard so many issues relating to the DPF on Diesels, so not sure about them, so based on that, 

    Edging more towards Petrol

    06 to 10 were only fitted with DPF as an option.
    1.8 tdci was not fitted with one at all
    I have several and didn't have any issues
