Tyre pressures, bit confused 馃

Hi there, I've just bought a 2018 1.0 EcoBoost st line X 140. But, can anyone clarify the tyre pressures? Online says 33psi front, 30psi rear. In a Ford manual I've just bought it says 30psi front and 30psi rear. However in the car it says 33psi front, 30psi rear 馃檲馃檲

The tyres are 235/40 18's

Thanks in advance.聽 Sorry if it's a daft question.聽聽

Howdo.聽 I'd always go with the car's own details, on the plate in the door jam or wherevver.聽 Manuals are often generic and can be out of date.聽 聽Most FWD cars have a higher front pressure than rear so seems right.

Hi Rachel, might have been better off posting in the Focus forum - I assumed at first glance it was a Fiesta as the 140 Focus is quite rare, I think, and your details still mention Fiesta.馃槂 So can't quote from actual experience of the car unfortunately.

The correct pressures for your particular car should be on a sticker on the door B pillar on the drivers or passengers side (passenger side on my car). The Ford online manual states 30/30 (normal load, up to 99mph) as you mention and the sticker would normally be in line with that, but I'd go by the sticker as Guy mentions.
