My 10 plate s has started to go into limpmode at 2500 revs turn engine off re start its goes back to normal . Use redex diesel system cleaner at every tankful . I dont do a lot of motorway miles infact hardly any . Garage has had a look mentioned could be turbo but am i right in thinking dpf or egr problem first ? Any help greatly appreciated thanks

    What code do you get? Usually when it's the DPF you'll get a fault code.

    Could also be that Redex you're throwing in every tankful is clogging up the fuel filter.

    Have you definitely got a DPF on a 10 plate Fiesta?  They started fitting them around that age but if it's an early 10 plate might not have one.

    Need to have the codes read as above.  Limp mode at 2500 sounds too perfect for the fuel filter, sounds more boost related to me.

    Garage didnt give me codes has given me forte cleaner to put in fuel iv done 2 big motorway runs since no change still goes into limp mode at 2500 ish was looking at stage 1 remap but obviously cant till prob solved now ! Frustrating as im working full time and havnt got much time to have a play myself any one around manchester that could have a look at it for me ???
