Pre-Facelift Fiesta MK6 Central Locking Not Working

Featured Replies

My first time on here.....I tried to connect an after market key less entry on my fiesta MK6 2003 model... worked momentarily and now the central locking has stopped working completely... removed the aftermarket unit and the original central locking using the key in the door still doesn't work... also the dash remote boot button will not operate the boot solenoid any more.. it appears to have lost power? I think I may have blown the GEM module when I was attempting to add the key less entry module. Not sure really... checked the fuse that seems ok.. Do I need to replace the GEM unit?
Can anyone shed some light what is the possible cause or how to check out the central locking system? Thanks
