Gazjs
A before and after shot chaning my interior light to an LED. Massive difference, well worth the few quid for the LED. Before After Thoughts??

DONFRAMAC
I tried using an LED bulb in my theatre-dimming type of interior light in my Mk 6.5 1.25 Zetec Climate 5 dr, but it refused to fully extinguish, and I was told by a fully experienced mechanic (ex-foreman), that the bulb is incompatible with the Theatre-Dimming electronics. It is now in the boot location.

Its so dim that's its not very noticeable.
mintalkin
the led will stay on at a dimmer light due to residual currant left in the circut, but most fords have a battery saver that cuts in after 20 mins so should then go out.
DONFRAMAC
the led will stay on at a dimmer light due to residual currant left in the circut, but most fords have a battery saver that cuts in after 20 mins so should then go out. I waited until the battery saver cut-in and shut off the centre panel between the instruments, but the glimmer persisted. I am much more prepared to tolerate the brief buzzing noise when my newly-fitted H.I.D. HI/LO headlamps are ramping up to full brightness. At least the noise stops when full brightness is reached.
