Intelligent speed limiter on Fiesta

Featured Replies

Does anybody know if a 2018 Fiesta Titanium has intelligent speed limiter? I've had the car for 3 weeks and when I bought it, I think I activated limiter to read traffic signs, I might have imagined it. I haven't been able to do it again and I'm a trainee driving instructor so could use this feature if the car has it. When I push the limiter button twice it displays LIMSETmph but it lets me exceed the traffic sign it has seen.

Thanks

All models in 2018 had adjustable speed limiter ie you can set a speed and the car will not exceed the set speed. The Traffic Sign Recognition feature identifies the speed limit signs but is not linked to the speed limiter. You can set a speed alert to flash a warning and/or sound an alert if you exceed the speed identified by the TSR by whatever margin you have set.

Afaik you still can't get the intelligent speed limiter on the Fiesta, but haven't studied the latest price list in detail.
