looking through the website, there is so much that i want, but what is ith the prices? is that normal, not even including p&p!!? is there anywhere who does cheaper?

i used to buy all my ford stuff from fordpartsuk.com but even they were only slightly cheaper than ford parts at your local dealer.

i'd love the illuminated gear stick, the map reading/ambient light, the leather handbrake, the stainless steel sills and the dash lighting.. but add that up and you're talking big money for things that are seriously minor.

maybe we could find somewhere that did an item that we all wnted and group buy it at a nice discount? anybody fancy running one?

oh brilliant. erm okay, these are definates as i need to get a bit of bling in the cabin:

alloy pedal set and alloy foot rest, both are around £45 on EP.

items i would consider if the prices were a bit fairer:

illuminated gearknob

leather handbrake,

Illuminated stainless steel door sills (would love these but they seem far too pricey for what they are)

so would settle for these

can you bring the prices down to earth a bit more?

on another note, does anyone know what seats those are? i was under the impression the only leather there is are the 2 'individual' packs, red and blue.. never seen black with red stitching before?

the seats are the leather in the zetec s , the titanium has the same in the x pack but they have white stiching :):)

Would love all that on yoru wish list as well, but I seriously felt sick after seeing how much they wanted for a couple of strips of metal for the door sills!

Im actually going to look into the poeple that will be fitting the sounds system and the diffuser work if they can custom make somthing.

im really not that keen on the leather in the new fiesta as its not black its like greeny bluey grey clour. and also as i like the material seats as they are quite a diffrent funky design :)

you can get all them from your fords dealer... i think personally the illuminated gear stick and sills look errm.... tacky prefer the standard ones, if you keel em clean they look good... the pedal covers are good i really like them on mine :)

Unless you can find the GEM (Global Electronic Module) having the illuminated gear lever and door sills is useless. I have had both parts for months, but still can not find this GEM. I have rang just about every Ford deal in Queensland Australia, no help what so ever. I have asked on JustAnswer, no help there either. Posted on here to see if anyone knew, nothing. This magical feature is somewhere in the car, but not next to the fuse box as the diagram indicates...

As for EP, they are really quality, but you are right, very exxy. Worth it. I have the pedals and footrest, the short throw shifter and illuminated bits (That do not illuminate lol) :)

Well...

I can save you a further good few quid on the official Ford sill/scuff plates for your 3-door! :D

When I bought my 3-door Titanium back in January - I asked the dealer how much a pair of scuff plates were - just to finish the car off nicely. I was quoted the £51 quid that Graham kindly staes above. Now whichever way you look at it - that is still a bit pricey for what they are.

My dealer - the hopeless Hendy Ford group in Fareham, Hants - wouldn't budge on the price.

Surprisingly enough - I get home later in the day & search eBay for a set of genuine Ford scuff plates - and lo-and-behold - the very same Hendy Group have their own eBay shop would you believe! This is approx 7 miles along the M27 at Eastleigh, near Southampton. The astonishing thing is they are being offered for £39.98 with a delivery charge of £6.49 with a 48-hr delivery time. That's a saving of around £12.00 quid on my dealer 7 miles back down the motorway as I am more than happy to collect in person!!!

So - for anyone wanting new genuine Ford scuff plates for their 3-door Fiesta - here you go - a lot less painful in your wallet!:
