Shakeing Car

Featured Replies

Hi all just wondering if anyone can help me i drive a fiesta 1.3i endure e engine petrol 51 plate. What it is when iam idleing sitting at lights etc i feel the car shake a tiny bit. don't get me wrong the car is running perfect (touching wood) so iam just wondering does anyone know why the car would shake at first i thought it was all the big cars next to me and my little fiesta did not like them :lol: (only jokeing) serrious can anyone help thanks alan.

May just be the mounting below the gearbox, as it is known to fail before the others, due to oil effects;-- you can get a better one with nylon instead of rubber. Otherwise, look at coil-pack/sparkplugs/HT leads, or try a bottle of "FORTE" fuel additive system cleaner, to clean whole fuel system, plugs & lambda probe;-- beats the old Redex hands-down, but is Trade-only, at £8.50p + VaT, for a black plastic bottle of it, enough to treat 100 litres of fuel. (versions for diesel, older Zetec S engines with their sticky-valve problems, and a version for the SE 16V petrol engines fitted to Mk 6 onwards, etc.).
