Fiesta Mk7 interior lights not working

Featured Replies

Hi. So I have a 2010 Fiesta Zetec and the interior overhead lights, footwells and boot light have stopped working all of a sudden and I'm unable to figure out why. They don't come on with the doors or even when I manually flip the switch on the overhead light.

However they do very briefly flash when I turn the ignition on but this is the most I can get.

In the two days before they stopped working, they sometimes flickered a little bit but only very slightly.

I've read that it could be the fuse but the horn still works and all fuses appear intact. The ambient lighting still works as normal too.

Any help in sorting this would be amazing so thanks in advance!

Most probally the front centre unit ,that hppened to mine brought a new unit plugged it in all worked.

I've had a go at fitting the light from my friends MK7 fiesta and that also had the same problem however my light worked perfectly fine in his car.

Makes me think the unit itself is fine and it must be something else

Does anyone know if a reset of the ECU could sort this? And if so, how would I go about resetting it?
