Ford Fiesta Flight 1997

Featured Replies

Hey everyone. I’ve got a Fiesta Flight 1997. The central locking system is broken so it won’t get through an MOT. The car has only 51,000 on the clock, too good to scrap! Any ideas on selling it or repairs to central locking to save it from the scrap yard. It’s a reliable little thing!

Central locking isn't part of MOT.  As long as it unlocks manually it'll be fine.

Correct, as long as the doors open and close from the inside and out it's fine.

Ask for an appeal form

Doors that lock is not part of an mot or having an ignition key, a switch is fine
