jag Singh
Hi I have a 2009 model Ford Fiesta 1.4 (Petrol) Zetec. It was involved in an accident which resulted in the passenger side seat air bag exploding. After getting the car and air bag repaired/replaced I have found that the car no longer starts. When you turn the ignition key the engine turns but does not fire up. I have tried spraying "Quick Start" into the air filter and this temporarily starts the engine until the quick start has run out. obviously this situation is not sustainable. In the past I have found on new cars there is some sort of reset button which needs to be pressed after a crash to get the car started again - does anyone know if there is such a thing on the latest model Ford Fiesta? Or is there something else wrong? I really would appreciate any help/advice on this. Thanks in advance.
Nug878
I would've thought the fuel cut off switch needs to be reset.
