Hi everyone last week I bought a 58 plate ford focus 1.8TDCI but I have come across some usual strange things random in the car. Don't get me wrong the car is immaculate condition only done 76000 miles very clean inside and out so no worries there still waiting on the log book to see who owned it in the past but see pictures I have attached.

    The roof pic is presumably a rubber bung? If so I'd remove it and make sure any bare metal is protected. It will have been an aerial of some sort probably. The last pic looks like the sounder buzzer for rear parking sensors - any fitted and do they work? 

     

    The only ex police car I've had experience of had bigger brakes and must have been chipped - it was rapid.

    Open the hatch with the ignition on and car in reverse, walk up to the sensors and see if it beeps, with the hatch open your head will be close enough to tell where its coming from. Also your neighbours will think you've gone loopy. 🙂
