Featured Replies

I've just had a similar problem with a customers car. When hot it doesn't want to start and when it does runs rough and surges slightly 200 to 500 rpm No fault codes coming up. I took the throttle body off and cleaned it. There was a ring of carbon where the butterfly meets the body, this up to now has cured the problem, I think it made the mixture too rich. Similar to an old type manual choke being out to much causing it to run to rich. Hope this helps

Sorry this vehicle was a 2015 fiesta 1.0 ecoboost
