Swapping EFB battery for an AGM

Featured Replies

Hi All, I have just joined and hope I can get some sort of an answer for my problem.
I have a 2022 Ford Focus vignale MHEV 1 L ecoboost 155bhp
I have a problem that I don't drive very far that often and my EFB battery sometimes charge gets low that my air conditioning won't work. Not a good situation in the days we've been having in May. I actually think my battery is on its way out u and wonded if I could swap my EFB battery to an AGM type as this recovers well and good for short journeys. The only problem that I read up about is that the EFB this designed for hot engine compartments and the AGM is designed to be in a cooler environment.
Could I actually swap from EFB to AGM?
