Dent Removal Advice Please

Featured Replies

While at work today just about to leave for home i noticed some idiot had seemingly opened his door hard right into the centre of mine. I managed to rub off the scuff marks and it appears the paint is undamaged although I've not had a chance to check in bright daylight yet.

Obviously I'm really annoyed even though it's a small dent it's very noticeable.

Does anyone have any advice with dent removal and know any places that will do a good job without charging the earth?

Has anyone had any experience with ford when it comes to removing dents and what kind of prices they'd charge themselves?

Just thought I'd mention I'm in east London.

Thanks in advance.

I used a company called Acci-dent, although I believe they are only based in Scotland. I'm sure there will be a similar type of company in your area. I had a small dent on the door of my Ka, probably from another car door hitting it. He charged me £50, took about 20 mins and the car was perfect again!

Thanks for quick reply. I did a search for acci-dent and found their website on google but it seems their site is down so can't check if they have any places locally.

Did you have to book in advance or was it just a walk/drive in place?

Yeah there site is down but in Google it says "Scotlands leading ...." I would imagine that many of the paintless dent removal companies are the same - Dent Devils for example, they say can cost from £75 (my Ka was repaired around 5 years ago) I went to the chaps house as it was local to me, although they were meant to come to you.

You would never have known there had been a dent on the car after he finished, not even a blemish. A few weeks later someone did the same thing to the other door and I decided I wasn't paying £50 again, so that dent remained and it is still there cos I saw it in Asda car park last year!
