Hi all, got the retro fit ambient delivered today, im wanting to attach this to the courtesy light so i think il need the wiring diagram, can anyone supply this for me?

    is it the ambient lighting for ford fiesta mk7? it should come with instructions and diagram though.

    where did you buy this? european-parts.net?

    Hi all, If you take the courtesy light out of its roof lining holder you will see on the back a green/grey wire (earth),a yellow/grey wire (12v+),these are the two wires you need to tap into the loom.These wires run down the nearside 'A' Post behind the glove box.Once you have made your connection there you can run the neccessary wires to were ever you want ie. footwell lights etc.The lights will work when unlocking the vehicle etc just like the courtesy light works.Hope this has been helpful to all those who have not got the factory wiring already in place.

    Yea it is, for the zetec s and Nope, good old ebay!, £10.00 for 3 60cm strips and run off 12v so no converter needed!

    Nice one will have to get wiring tomorrow or friday, i thought that what i would have to do, thanks!

    OMG it works!!!!! just bin in the car for the past hour trying it out, works really well and fades too with the lights, cant wait to fit them all!

    I used a red 12v bendy, self sticky one. i dont he'l post to slovakia though..... just type in strip led lights!
