Focus satnav ‘ no gps ‘ message

Featured Replies

Hi I have early 2011 plate focus and the satnav says no GPS and both the satnav and maps think I’m in Knutsford which I ain’t , never been or even been near !! Any ideas what’s wrong ? GPS antenna broke maybe  ? Thanks

Has it ever worked?

Do you have a dashcam, or some similar accessory around the windscreen/rear view mirror?

Hi thanks for response , worked in the past .... weird thing is if I ‘manually’  input start and end point via the set screen it will work but if I just try get it to find me remotely it thinks I’m 130 miles away !!! No other devices in car mate ....

If its got the GPS antenna in the rooftop aerial base then it could be due to water ingress. This was a very very common fault and easy to replace.
