galaxy 2004 windows not working

hi all

my 2004 galaxy has a problem with the windows, they have all stopped working and the elec locking goes on and off repeatedly for about 30 secs when i lock it and the driver door doesnt lock.

ive bought a new switch unit for the door but it still doesnt work, and ive checked all green 30 amp fuses......can anyone help please

    You probably have a broken wire where the wires go through a rubber grommet and then into the driver door. The wires flex at this spot and can break inside the insulation. Try closing the windows while moving the wires about with your hand to find the broken wire.
