radio change

Featured Replies

hi

I have a fiesta 2012. I have the basic Cd/ radio no bluetooth etc and was wondering if it is possible to install the Sony radio and have Bluetooth? I have a basic parrot hands free system installed but I'd like to play my music take calls etc using the car it self as the parrot system is rubbish.

If this is possible what would I need ??

Thanks in advance

Hi, did you ever find out? I have the same problem,

Thanks

Phil

seems possible, but going off the comments is pretty hard to actually do. Bloke it the video makes it look easy tbh, probably cut out the difficult bits 😅

i wouldn't like to attempt it gone are the days you use to just go and buy the one you wanted and cut the hole too suit And the electric aerials on the wing that use to be snapped.

The radio is easy to swap like for like. The trim surrounding the screen has some stiff clips, but nothing too bad. Once you get that off its dead easy.

The problem is having the wiring in place for Bluetooth but has been done before I believe.

That's the problem with all retro fits if the loom isn't corrected = headache.

nah nor would I, far too many wires & things to go wrong. Not to mention the time and cost. Them cheap Bluetooth to aux things are a much easier solution.

i would just live with what you got better something working then nothing!
