Replacement key fob recommendation

Featured Replies

My wife has just acquired a 2014 Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost which unfortunately only came with one key fob. Having skimmed through the forums to get some recommendations I tried Timpsons as I had heard about main dealers charging a fortune. Having gone to their main shop they pointed me in the direction of their other unit outside our local Tesco superstore. On the way down there I passed a local auto locksmith called Fast Fittings. I stopped and asked about a replacement fob and I am glad I did. They had the car and original fob for an hour and provided a replacement for £155. Timpsons quoted £230 (but that was for 'everything'!) and the Ford main dealer was just shy of £260.

Others have recommended local auto locksmiths and I fully agree. If you need a good service in the Sussex area, try http://fastfixings.com/
