Ford galaxy 2016 cuts out while driving

Ho Everyone 

 

I have a 2016 ford galaxy .

The car switches off mainly when I go up a steep hill and spanner sign comes up on dash.

The only way to start the car is by locking and unlocking the door 

 

Any suggestions please

Buy an obd2 code reader to check for stored codes.

It might be tye fuel filter needs changing.
