    It isnt noisy and tappety that is the way it is supposed to sound.

    The MK6 had a massive wedge of an air box on top of that engine.

    The tappet sound was really muffled.

    Now the air filter box is behind the passenger headlight and therefore the is nothing above the engine to muffle the sound.
