hi Folks, just had quick question please on Vignale Sync 3 SatNav  Live Traffic please.

I had a search for info but a little confused.

If I want live traffic, do I need to subscribe to the car hotspot data plan, does this give me any Live Traffic enhancements?

OR

DO you guys just link to your phone through Ford pass to get the traffic.

I don't seem to see any traffic on the map, just see it listed under the menu.

I do have ford pass all activated

Please can someone point me in the direction of a quick step by step to get live traffic appearing on the map, with reroutes etc.

    You have to register the vehicle with Ford pass app create an account  and sign in. Then in Sync3 you activate traffic updates . You don't need hotspot. Sync3 has its own SIm that provides gprs data. Only thing is of course this service has only been free for 1st 2years and requires subscription after that although it is reported to being made free for life in some countries so who knows re UK.

    It was free on mine for 2 years.

    After that it is a re subscription which won't be happening for the further 6 months or so I will have it.
