Hey, 

so I’ve got Ford Fiesta st-line ecoboost. I have 2 things to ask really.. 

Firstly- Could anyone tell me the colour of the 2017 alloys for my car so I can repair the damage I’ve done to my OH alloys? Or 

Secondly-If I was to spray paint them black, would I need to sand down the alloy to get the natural colour off them before I prime them and spray them black? Or can I just sand over the scratches then prime them and spray black? 
 

Please help a girl out 😁 my OH has gone mad as that car is his pride and joy atm 😂 and has said I’m not allowed to drive it again! Haha

    Have you done any spray painting before?  It's not as easy at looks, they'll probably end up looking worse!! :ermm:

    If you do paint them, you just need to lightly sand the whole surface to give it a key for the paint to stick to, don't need to back to bare metal.  If it's a deep scuff, you'll need to grind and/or fill that in first.  It'll show through any paint put on on top.

    How bad is the scuff?  You could make it look better with a touch up kit instead.  If it's really bad, or if your OH is obsessive about the car, then a professional alloy repair would be best.
