Mk 6 2007 fiesta zetec s 1.6 tdci

Featured Replies

Hello, my mk6 1.6tdci fiesta won’t start. So it’s been sitting for around two months. Before I left it sitting it started perfectly no issues. Now I went to start it and there was nothing, but that’s fine I assumed it was a flat battery so let it charge for a night. Went back to it and there’s lights on the dash and it was offering to start. tested the battery and it was 12v just to be safe I tested it with a new battery. It just done the exact same thing. After three attempts it’s just stopped cranking. I’m getting ignition lights but as soon as I turn the key to start it there’s nothing no noise form the starter. I checked the starter there’s 11.9 volts going to it and same with the alternator. Tested all the fuses in the glove box and engine bay all are ok. Ignition relay is clicking as well. I was thinking on replacing every fuse incase the fuse is completely ***** and still showing continuity. Before is do this does anyone have and ideas to which it could be ? Maybe ***** started solenoid but would it just cut out ?
