Master reset to delete Bluetooth devices 2011 mosel

Hi - just got a 2011 Fiesta for my daughter and of course she wants the iPhone connected via Bluetooth. However when she tries it says there are too many phones currently linked back to delink one . However there are no phones listed -as linked! How can we master reset to clear those ghosting phones and connect here?
