I think it is safe to say there is a reason why you know no one with one.

If it was as simple as plugging a capacitor into the cigarette lighter I think the highly paid engineers at all the large car companies might have come up with this. There could of course be a conspiracy by the fuel companies and car manufacturers to keep them out of cars and therefore selling more fuel. :rolleyes:

I would be quite happy to be proved wrong though. :P

absoloute !Removed! another us invention the u.s roads agency tested every product on the market that claims to save fuel as they planned on using them on there vehicles and found 0 that did what they claimed to do and like that thing they all had test results and university tests etc etc the old saying if its too good........... if it really worked wouldnt vehicle manufacturers have them /sell them /recommend them wouldnt every car m,agazine be raving about it ? think that answers the question really

if only mate if only the evil petrol pump will always have us by the short and curlies i dont think its really possible to plug summat in the lighter socket that mysteriously saves fuel gives more power etc nice thought though

And I love the idea that when I jump in the car and say "abra cadabra, the petrol tank will be full" that the tank is full. Guess what, it's only ever worked once, just as I was pulling out of the Shell garage.
