Ford Fiesta rear screen heater

Featured Replies

The rear screen heater (on my Ford Fiesta Zetec 2008) only works on one line. I fear the winters near and I am going to have problems seeing out the back.

Is there anything I can do to fix it and get it working on all lines.

There are various heated rear window repair kits advertised on Amazon, EBay etc which basically use conductive paint to bridge the gap in broken elements.

It's years since I used one but it was reasonably effective on a very short break in the element.

Edit: another thought. This type of self adhesive screen heater used to be quite commonly sold as an accessory years ago, this is the only one I've seen lately https://www.holden.co.uk/p/screen_heater_12_volt
