09 plate, radio stopped working

Featured Replies

A couple of weeks ago my audio control buttons stopped working. I have checked all the fuses and were good. After disconnecting the battery and putting it back on everything was fine for a couple of minutes and then nothing worked again. Luckily the radio was on AUX with a decent volume. Today I tried to fix the problem and do a soft reset (holding power and forward buttons down for 15 seconds) and that turned the radio off completely. After that only the ring around the power button, the menu button, the OK and arrows around it light up. All other buttons are off.

Is there any way to fix the radio I have now?

If I buy a new unit, do I need to know anything specific about the new one?

Thank you.

Try taking the front off and check the connection behind could be somthing there

I took out all the cables and everything seems in order.

I done the same and it didnt work,  but when I disconnected the black cable that goes to the radio face and reconnected it all worked again, might not be seated correctly worth a try
