P0130 and P0131 Error Codes

Featured Replies

As above, I have had the check engine light come on and has the error P0130 and P0131. Reports that the Bank 1 Sensor 1 has low voltage and has an error in general.

I've read that the sensor is in different places both in front and behind the engine, and I'm wondering where it is based on a 2006 1.4 Petrol engine. I know very little about cars and what's what so I would appreciate simple and easy to follow answers.

As I'm guessing this sensor will most likely need replacing, what's the best brand(s) of OEM sensors you can get, as I'd much rather do it at home compared to sending it to a garage.

Not sure what other information is needed.

Cheers.

sensor 1 will usually be on the exhaust manifold, looks like a bog bold/spark plug with a wire coming out of the top.
