Fiesta Aux/BT/USB/VC not working

Featured Replies

Hi,

I recently bought a 2010 fiesta and I can’t get any of the audio inputs to work.

The fiesta has a USB and an Aux jack next to the 12v which doesn’t respond to anything. When I press the Aux button on the console it does nothing. When I press Phone it just mutes the radio. When I navigate to Bluetooth in the Menu, it says BT Off on the right most button but doesn’t change when I press it. The voice control button on the stalk also does nothing.

From what I’ve seen, I understand that all 4 of these features are controlled by the bluetooth module in the passenger footwell. I saw someone recommended to unplug that and plug it back in, which I did with no luck.

I also saw someone say to download the latest update to a USB and plug it into the car. The car doesn’t respond to anything being plugged in to the USB port so this didn’t work either.

I disconnected the battery for 5 mins to try and reset it, didn’t work either.

Anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

I’ve seen that this can be a common problem with Fiestas from the amount of posts online but they all seem to be quite old without a solution on them so just wondered if anyone had a recent response? Or should I take it to Ford?
